I was born in Provo, Utah on April Fool's Day. You can tell from the perpetual wit, humor, and lightheartedness in my books. I grew up in a small town called Alpine with my awesome family. I have six siblings, all of whom I love dearly.

My current love of writing is one long in the making. As soon as I learned to write, I wrote small things—fantastic adventures, mostly, with crazy imaginary beasts—until my writing took on a more philosophical, poetic turn in my adult years.

In my writing career, I have a couple of goals. First, I want to shine a light on some ongoing issues in the world. Second, I want to connect and unite people. So curl up with a book, and let's connect.
